Hakuna Matata

Don't try this at home. When Katrina and I were on the island of Zanzibar, off the coast of Tanzania, we were treated to a song performed by a guy who called himself Butterfly. He sang quite well, but here's the catch, he sang the song while climbing a 80 foot high coconut tree with only some rope tied around his feet (not attached to anything mind you). The video quality, once I uploaded it to youtube, isn't the best, but sit through it, and you'll get the idea. Enjoy! I've included the lyrics below the video, but he has taken some artistic license, since the song is a nationalistic Kenyan song, and we're in Tanzania.
Jambo (Hello)
Jambo, Jambo Bwana, (Hello, Hello Sir,)
Habari gani, (How are you,)
Mzuri sana. (Very fine.)
Wageni, mwakaribishwa, (Foreigners, you're welcome,)
Kenya yetu Hakuna Matata. (In our Kenya there is no problem.)
Kenya nchi nzuri, (Kenya is a beautiful country,)
Hakuna Matata. (There is no problem.)
Nchi ya maajabu (A wonderful country)
Hakuna Matata. (There is no problem.)
Nchi yenye amani, (A peaceful country,)
Hakuna Matata. (There is no problem.)
Watu wote, (Everybody,)
Hakuna Matata, (There is no problem,)
Wakaribishwa, (Are welcome,)
Hakuna Matata. (There is no problem.)
This song, composed by Kenyan musician Teddy Kalanda Harrison, was first recorded in February 1980.

(^o^)♪Hakuna Matata♪ What a wonderful phrase! Sounds even better when he sings it. He has such a surreal voice...he sounds so perfectly calm and joyful. Thanks for sharing! I'd love to show it to my students when we do our lessons on Kenya and Tanzania!
